The Australian Computer Society(ACS) seeks to assess candidates from ICT fields for their ability to migrate to Australia as skilled migrants based on their skills, knowledge, and capabilities. Skill Assessments performed by ACS are completed by applicants who are not ICT graduates or have a limited background in ICT. Applications will be required to submit RPL reports according to ACS guidelines.

Reports are written in the field based on the ANZSCO code selected. Candidates must choose the correct ANZSCO code for which they qualify.

Document Checklist for ACS Skill Assessment

1. Personal Documents

1.1 Passport or Birth Certificates

Applicants must submit color scans to ACS. Your passport identification page must contain your name, address, and other required information.

1.2 Evidence of Name Change Document

Send a clear color scan of the document if you have recently changed your name.

1.3 Curriculum Vitae/ Resume

Your curriculum vitae must be included in the personal section of your application form as per ACS rules.

2. Qualification Documents

2.1 Academic Qualification

Your academic transcript must be scanned in color along with your award certificate or completion certificate for your Australian Qualification. You have to submit your bachelor’s qualification along with your master’s qualification if you have a master’s. Make sure your qualification documentation contains the information below.

  • Degree/Title in Education
  • Name of University where the degree was awarded
  • Degree completion date.
  • Each unit or subject’s details along with the mark/grade earned.

2.2 Certification/Courses Qualification

In order to qualify as a Microsoft certification, applicants must provide the vendor login details for authentication purposes. Your Cisco Provider Certification login credentials will be requested once you submit the form successfully. You can attach this information.

2.3 Experience Documents

You must submit a color scan of your job references on business letterhead or a statutory declaration.

Work Experience Document Requirements

  • The start date and end date of an applicant’s employment must be stated. It can be written as the end date if you are currently employed there.
  • Tasks and duties performed by the applicant during the claimed occupation period of time must be detailed.
  • We need to know the total number of hours worked per week. Indicate if the work is part-time or full-time.
  • Include the country where the job is located. If the work occurs in the same nation but in a different location, you have to mention the date and the location.
  • The letterhead is usually signed by the author and includes their name, title, address, and phone number.
  • Requirements for Third-Party Statutory Declarations
  • Executive-level colleagues provide a statutory declaration. The declaration should state that the document was observed before an authorized person, including the date and place of the declaration.

Tips Before Submitting an Application Form (ACS)
